Representatives
of various US based health organizations who met
with Archimandrite Zacchaeus to discuss plans for
World AIDS Awareness Day pause for a photograph in
St Catherine the Great Martyr Church Among
the possibilities discussed was hosting a program
entitled “Caring for the Sick and Suffering –
World AIDS Awareness Day, 2005” at St. Catherine
the Great
Martyr Church, where a moleben for the sick would
be served followed by asking a representative of
USAID of the US Embassy in Moscow to speak on ways
in caring for those with the disease. In addition,
“Healthy Russia” would provide literature on
HIV/AIDS prevention to all who participate as well
as to passersby
on the street by setting up a booth outside the
church. More
