MAYOR’S OFFICE OF READING, PA ANNOUNCED NOVEMBER 6 THE DAY OF ST. NICHOLAS CHURCH

 

In honor of centennial jubilee of the St. Nicholas Church of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA that will be celebrated on November 6 of this year, mayor’s office of Reading, PA declared this date as the day of St. Nicholas Church. In the letter addressed to priest Michael Sydek, the rector of the church, Mr. Thomas M. McMahon, the mayor of Reading, emphasized the important role, which the church played in the past and continues to play today in the name of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, in establishment and development of cultural and religious life of the town.
