NATO chaplains and Serb nuns in Kosovo yesterday launched a cleanup of a 15th century monastery burned during the worst outbreak of ethnic violence since the provinces war. The Devic monastery was among dozens of Serbian Orthodox churches and other religious sites that were burned and damaged in March last year when ethnic Albanian extremists targeted Serbs in a wave of attacks that killed 19 people and left thousands homeless.
