Seminars on Orthodox Scriptural Studies and Biblical Languages

The Orthodox Center for the Advancement of Biblical Studies (OCABS) is sponsoring a number of seminars this summer at the Greek Orthodox Diocese of Boston Camp and Retreat Center in Contoocook, NH. Please join us for these compelling sessions on Orthodox Scriptural studies and biblical languages.

August 22-27, 2005
The Book of Ezekiel
Lecturer:  V. Rev. Dr. Paul Tarazi, Professor of Biblical Studies and Biblical Languages, St. Vladimir's Seminary.
Lectures will begin Monday evening, August 22 and end Saturday, August 27 at 12 noon. This will be an intensive course covering the entire book of Ezekiel with lectures lasting 6-7 hours a day.

August 29-September 3, 2005
Biblical Language Seminar, New Testament Greek 2
Lecturer:  Timothy Clark, lecturer in Biblical Greek at St. Vladimir's Seminary.
Prerequisite is New Testament Greek 1 or its knowledge equivalent. This will be an intensive language module of 6-7 hours a day. Minimum enrollment is 7. This course will begin Monday morning, August 29 and end September 3, 12 noon.

August 29-September 3, 2005
Biblical Language Seminar, Biblical Hebrew 2
Lecturer:  V. Rev. Dr. Paul Tarazi, Professor of Biblical Studies and Biblical Languages, St. Vladimir's Seminary.
Prerequisite is Biblical Hebrew 1 or its equivalent. This will be an intensive language module of 6-7 hours a day. Minimum enrollment is 7. This course will begin Monday morning, August 29 and end September 3, 12 noon.

The cost of each seminar is $360, which includes room and board at the Retreat Center. Registration forms are available on OCABS website at www.ocabs.org.  A $50 yearly membership fee in OCABS is required to attend OCABS sponsored seminars during one calendar year.

Participants are responsible for their own travel arrangements. Closest airport is in Manchester, NH. OCABS will provide free pickup to and from this Airport or to local bus and train stations.
