On June 23rd, 2005, several members of the Executive Board of the Orthodox Christian Laity (OCL) were hosted by Metropolitan PHILIP for a meeting and luncheon at the Archdiocese Headquarters in Englewood, New Jersey. Metropolitan PAUL of Australia, who was visiting the Archdiocese was also in attendance. The members of OCL are Orthodox Christians from all jurisdictions who are committed to the goal of achieving Orthodox unity in North America. The meeting included a discussion of many of the critical issues that must be faced on the path to this goal of unity. More information on OCL may be found at www.ocl.org.
