I ask for forgiveness before hand, but I felt morally obliged to send this message since, I believe, the facts of the happening in Manastirea Tanacu are presented in a way that would be badly perceived by most of the readers.

I would start with the fact that the article is obviously written with an intent to link the facts with the legend of Dracula and preempts to the conclusion that Romanians, including the Romanian Orthodox Church, are prone to esoteric beliefs.

The actual facts are also skewed because the monastery is not in Arad but in Vaslui, in Moldova and not in Transylvania!

All in all I think this article is rather a tabloid type than an impartial presentation of the facts.

This article has nothing to do in an Orthodox News page, because has nothing to do with the Orthodoxy and can actually harm the image of the Romanian Orthodox
Church and Orthodoxy in general.

The facts are the facts, nobody can deny them, but I think, at least, we are morally obliged to present them in an impartial and objective way, without jumping to the wrong conclusions.

I apologize again for my words.
