. Burden or Blessing?
Russian Orthodoxy and the Construction of Civil
Society and Democracy is the
outgrowth of a project spearheaded by Boston
University's Institute on Culture, Religion and
World Affairs. The book is edited by Professor
Chris Marsh of Baylor University and brings
together Russian, American and European scholars
to analyze and discuss the interrelationship
between religion and politics in contemporary
Russia.
