 PBS "Religion and Ethics" to Feature Return of Tikhvin Icon

SYOSSET, NY [OCA Communications] -- The historic return to Russia of the Tikhvin icon of the Mother of God will be featured on PBS's "Religion and Ethics Newsweekly" the weekend of June 12-13, 2004.

Hosted by veteran journalist Bob Abernethy, "Religion and Ethics Newsweekly" is the only national TV news magazine program devoted entirely to news of religion and spirituality, and major ethical issues. Produced by Thirteen/WNET New York, the program explores the top moral questions facing the country and profiles the most interesting people and groups in the world of religion and ethics. It is distributed to PBS stations nationwide.
