Kyrenia Bishop demands respect of Christian monuments in occupied areas Nicosia, May 23 (Cyprus News Agency)- Kyrenia Bishop Pavlos has deplored the ''new provocative action'' of the regime in the Turkish-occupied areas of the Republic of Cyprus to turn the Archangel Michael Cathedral in Kyrenia into a museum. In a written protest, the Bishop notes that the impudence of Turkish Cypriot leader Rauf Denktash's regime has no limits and demands the ''respect of all sacred monuments.'' |
